The Agriculture Development Fund (ADF) has partnered with CompTechCo for the establishment and operations of its Data Management Office (DMO), based on compliance with the policies and regulations of the Data Management Office (DMO), part of Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The DMO project is based on superior quality consultancy and advisory services offered by CompTechCo, leveraging the International DAMA (Data Management Association) framework. The project is based on two dimensions:
The first is the establishment of the ADF DMO, so that it provides the following:
• Assessing the current ADF Data Management Maturity.
• Alignment with the current ADF internal and external factors which impact the ongoing evolution of its Data Management Office.
• Provide the required Transitional framework for moving from the ‘As is State’ to the ‘Target State’.
• Placing a three year roadmap which lists the Data Management, Analytics and AI related initiatives, in alignment with the 15 segments approved by the National Data Management Office, which are:
o Data Governance
o Data Catalog and Metadata
o Data Quality
o Data Operations
o Document and Content Management
o Data Architecture and Modeling
o Reference and Master Data Management
o Business Intelligence and Analytics
o Data Sharing and Interoperability
o Data Value Realization
o Open Data
o Freedom of Information
o Data Classification
o Personal Data Protection
o Data Security and Protection
The second segment of this project pertains to the operations of the ADF Data Management Office, in order to provide a sustained Operating Model for the ADF DMO, through continuous support, Training and Knowledge Transfer.
